Konga Wete Webanchi washing station is a shining example of specialty coffee production that—in addition to improving coffee quality—contributes to the local community. Specifically, the station is built next to a school in Wete and works in tandem with its teachers and staff to ensure the children there receive the support they need. Furthermore, the spot chosen by Meseret and Abraham (the married owners of Primrose) provided easy access to electricity—a rare amenity in Ethiopia's rural areas—enabling the station to produce coffee well into the night.
